There is one thing we want to do with our wines more than anything else and that is to inspire. We do this by working out the characteristics of each grape variety we cultivate right down to the smallest detail and by emphasising the typicity of their area of origin. With our extensive winegrowing expertise and passion, we cultivate ten typical Alto Adige grape varieties on terraces at challenging altitudes of up to 860 metres above sea level and select only the best hand-picked grapes for the production of our quality wines. The result is well-balanced, fresh mountain wines with a captivating aroma and elegance. Within three quality lines we produce characterful whites, typical varietal reds as well as a sweet dessert wine.

PINOT NERO

Designation of origin: Alto Adige DOC
Grape variety: Pinot Nero
Vinification: Mash fermentation takes place at 23 °C with an 8-day maceration period, followed by malolactic fermentation and 5 months of ageing in concrete and stainless steel tanks.
Degustation: With a bright, ruby red color and a delicate bouquet of raspberries and cherries, this Pinot Nero presents itself. It impresses on the palate with an elegant structure and fine tannins.
Dish ideas: This Pinot Nero harmonizes perfectly with light dishes such as pasta with vegetables or mild sauces and white meat.
Service temperature: 14-16 °C
Storability: up to 5 years
