There is one thing we want to do with our wines more than anything else and that is to inspire. We do this by working out the characteristics of each grape variety we cultivate right down to the smallest detail and by emphasising the typicity of their area of origin. With our extensive winegrowing expertise and passion, we cultivate ten typical Alto Adige grape varieties on terraces at challenging altitudes of up to 860 metres above sea level and select only the best hand-picked grapes for the production of our quality wines. The result is well-balanced, fresh mountain wines with a captivating aroma and elegance. Within three quality lines we produce characterful whites, typical varietal reds as well as a sweet dessert wine.

SAUVIGNON

Designation of origin: Alto Adige DOC
Grape variety: Sauvignon
Vinification: Partial cold maceration followed by partly spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels and subsequent maturation in wooden barrels for at least 12 months.
Degustation: Bright golden-yellow. Multi-layered bouquet of exotic fruits; the good acidity level gives this Sauvignon his vivacious freshness especially expressed in the harmonious aftertaste.
Dish ideas: Recommended as an accompaniment to fresh dishes like salad with fennel and goat cheese. Ideal as well in combination with fish dishes or asparagus variations.
Service temperature: 8-10 °C
Storability: 10 years
